Mohammad Abdul Razack has been awarded the Ph.D
Mr. Mohammad Abdul Razack, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, GITAM (Deemed to be University), with 12 years of teaching experience, has successfully completed his Doctorate under the esteemed guidance of Prof. V.V.S. Prasad, Chairman, Board of Studies, Marine Engineering. Andhra University College of Engineering. His research, titled "Computational and Experimental Investigation of Heat Transfer in an Annular Cooking Bowl for Non-Centrifugal Cane Sugar Unit Using Food-Grade Oil and Graphene Nanoplatelet Dispersions," is centered on enhancing heat transfer performance through the use of nanofluids. The study focuses on an innovative annular cooking bowl design that improves the thermal efficiency of non-centrifugal cane sugar production. By combining computational simulations and experimental investigations, the research demonstrates how food-grade oil blended with graphene nanoplatelet nanofluids significantly enhances heat transfer, leading to improved thermal performance and energy utilization. This pioneering work highlights the potential of nanofluid-based heat transter enhancement to revolutionize traditional jaggery-making units by enabling faster, more efficient, and sustainable thermal processing.
Mohammad Abdul Razack has published his research findings in four reputed international journals and has presented one of his research contributions at an international conference.
On this occasion, he expressed his gratitude to the authorities of Andhra University for the opportunity to pursue his research. The Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. G.P. Rajasekhar, congratulated him and officially Landed over the doctoral notification. Faculty members of the Marine Engineering Department, along with his family, also extended their heartfelt congratulations on his remarkable achievement.
