 11th Annual General Body Meeting on 7th


I.V.N.S.K. Viswanath Rao, President of the Andhra University College of Engineering (AU CE) Alumni Association, announced that the association is organizing its 11th Annual General Body Meeting on the 7th of this month at the Dr. Y.V.S. Murthy Auditorium.

He revealed these details at the association's office on Friday evening. Prof K. Madhumurthy, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, will attend the meeting as the Distinguished Guest, and Prof G.P. Rajasekhar, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, will attend as the Guest of Honour.

Senior Members V.R. Rao mentioned that the association members personally constructed and donated the Sir M. Visweswaraiah Hostel Building to the university at a cost of ₹3.5 crores, and they are currently constructing an additional floor with another ₹1.2 crores. He stated that this hostel was constructed with donations contributed by all the alumni who studied at AU College of Engineering.


A large number of alumni, starting from the students of the first batch in 1959 up to the recently graduated students, will attend this meeting. The teaching staff of the College of Engineering will also participate in large numbers. On this occasion, alumni will share their journeys, progress, experiences, and feelings. He also stated that cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding students, and their parents will be felicitated with affection.

We cordially invite all alumni residing in Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas to attend the alumni meeting on Sunday, the 7th of this month. We hope that this meeting will be a sweet memory as the university celebrates its centenary.

Association Secretary Professor K. Rambabu, Treasurer B. Bhaskara Rao, Vice President M.G. Madhava Babu, and Ravishankar, and others participated in the event.
