Ambedkar College of Law , Andhra University , Visakhapatnam . Ashish Kumar completed his research on the topic “Converging Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights : A Global Perspective on Ownership and Liability Conundrum” under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) K. Sita Manikyam , Principal, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College of Law. His research critically examines the evolving interface between Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights, focusing on global jurisprudential, legislative, and policy perspectives. The study offers valuable insights into ownership and liability concerns surrounding AI-generated works.

Lalitha Bhaskari from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Andhra University has received the Vidya Ratna Award. The award was presented to Professor Lalita Bhaskari by AICTE C.O.O. Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar and JNTU Kakinada Vice-Chancellor Prof. C.V.R.K. Prasad at an event held today at T-Hub in Hyderabad, as part of the Bharat Education Excellence Awards - 2025 ceremony.   CPR is the key to save lives  CPR Training Program at AU Health Centre AU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. G.P. Rajasekhar, stated that there is an opportunity to save a person's life in an emergency by performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). He inaugurated the CPR training program jointly organized by the Andhra University Health Centre, St. Luke's College of Nursing, Vijaya Luke College of Nursing, and JDS Hospital.   NHAI Plans To Use Municipal Waste For Road Construction By 2027 Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has said that the National Highways Authority has plans to use all municipal waste produced in the Country for road construction by 2027.   Addressing a convocation at a private engineering college near Chennai yesterday, he said that already 80 lakh tonnes of municipal waste is being used for road construction, including in the construction of the Ahmedabad -Pune Highway , where 25 lakh tonnes were used and 40 lakh tonnes were utilised for the Mumbai -Delhi Highway.   He said that one load was laid with bio bitumen derived from livestock, which was certified by the Central Research Organisation to be better than petroleum bitumen .   Google to Invest $15 Billion in India’s AI Hub in Andhra Pradesh Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today said the new gigawatt-scale AI hub announced by Google in Andhra Pradesh will go a long way in meeting the goals of the India AI mission . Google has announced a massive investment of 15 billion US dollars over the next five years to establish one gigawatt-scale Artificial Intelligence hub in Visakhapatnam , Andhra Pradesh.
